| Summary |
"The volatile Andrew hijacks Jake for a mysterious late night road trip away from his typewriter and poisonous relationship. The two men are halfway to Ohio before Andrew reveals the purpose of their journey. Jake and Andrew befriend a young girl at a rural filling station and a single mother at a local diner while en route to the funeral of Andrew's father. This is the story of a lost generation emerging from the ashes of post-9/11 New York, and finding themselves again during the Northeast Blackout of 2003.
