Summary |
Red River Valley (1936, 56 min.): Cowhand Gene Autry and his partner help Arizona cattlemen who are trying to build a dam that will bring water to their parched lands. Unscrupulous businessmen attempt to hinder these plans for their own profit. |
Saddle pals (1947, 71 min.): Rancher Gene Autry goes to the home of wealthy hypochondriac landowner Waldo Brooks, trying to get rent reductions for all the tenants in the valley. Waldo persuades Gene to switch identities and homes with him while he gets a much-needed vacation, giving Gene power-of-attorney to act for him in all matters. Trouble ensues when Gene learns he must raise fifty thousand dollars to save Waldo's properties. |
Apache country (1952, 57 min.): Cavalry scouts are ordered by the President to break up a frontier ring which uses Indian raids to cover up its bandit activities. |
Pack train (1953, 60 min.): Gene Autry sets out to aid frontier settlers whose very existence is threatened by a shortage of food and medicine. When mercenary storekeepers divert the promised supplies to gold miners at exorbitant prices, Gene must ride to the rescue. |
