Summary Meeting minutes of the Red Meat Connection, a womens organization in Morrison, Illinois to promote the meat industry, beef, pork and lamb.
Biography Red Meat Connection is an organization of women who are interested in the promotion of beef, pork and lamb. The braninchild of two women, Louise Drury of Fulton and Bernice Janssen of Lyndon, the group is targeted toward increasing the use of red meat by the consumer. The group consisted of enthusiastic women who are proud of their industry, whether they be farm wives, women in agricultural fields, or whatever. At the August 1, 2001 meeting they decided to disband and in June 2002, they sent their remaining funds to the Red Meat Council.
